Weave

The gentle drift of film running through a projector – the frame wandering by a hair, the light breathing from one frame to the next. You see it move during playback and in the export; a paused frame stays still.

Amplitude sets how far the frame wanders. V–H Bias splits the wander between up and down and side to side – film travels vertically through a projector, so it starts out leaning that way. Flicker adds the lamp’s slow pulse and small changes in brightness from frame to frame.

A little goes a long way: keep Amplitude low and the footage feels projected rather than shaky.
