Log
Log converts flat log footage into normal contrast and color. Set it first, before Exposure and the film look.
Select Profile picks the log format your camera recorded, such as S-Log3 / S-Gamut3.Cine or V-Log / V-Gamut. Apple Log clips are converted automatically.
Add LUT converts the clip with a LUT file instead. Use it for a camera that isn’t listed, or for a LUT you already trust. A LUT replaces the profile.
Levels tells the app how the clip stores its values. Video gives deeper blacks and more contrast. Full gives a flatter image with lifted shadows and softer highlights. If the shadows turn solid black on Video, the clip was recorded in full range and needs Full.
DRT controls light brighter than the screen can show. Off uses the standard conversion. On an SDR export, anything brighter than white clips to white. An HDR export keeps it. On rolls off the brightest areas instead. Bright colored lights fade toward white, and skies keep their detail.
