Raw decoding

How the RAW file is developed, before anything else touches it.

As Shot is the system’s own processing. On Apple ProRAW that includes local tone mapping, which brightens the scene selectively, and a chroma boost.

Normalized runs every file through the same flat curve at the as-shot brightness. On ProRAW it drops the tone mapping and the chroma boost, for a more natural start.

Log is the flattest and keeps the most room in the highlights and shadows for heavy edits. Tap the selected Log pill again to open Redevelop RAW and tune the decode itself.
