Skin

Evens out skin. It finds the skin in the photo and pulls its color toward one tone, leaving everything else alone.

Tap the eyedropper, then the skin, to set the anchor – the swatch shows what you picked. Show Selection dims everything that isn’t skin, so you can see what the sliders will reach.

Hue turns the skin between ruddy and sallow, the direction that makes someone look sunburnt or unwell. Hue Uniformity pulls every skin pixel toward the anchor’s hue, so a face that’s red in one place and yellow in another becomes one color; all the way up, skin goes flat. Saturation Uniformity does the same for saturation, and clears blotches.

Smoothness evens out patchy tone without softening texture or shape. It runs before the film, so it works on black and white stocks too.
